The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. It is an extremely  popular tourist destination, with a reported 10 million visitors in 2003. It was established in 1958 and runs about 3 kilometers. Most legendary and famous stars and celebrities are found in front of TCL  Chinese Theatre. Oscar winners' stars are usually placed near the Dolby Theatre. Several things to do include visiting

 Grauman's Chinese Theater and the Hollywood Museum. You're close to the triumphal arch of Hollywood & and many of Hollywood’s famous grand theaters, including the Egyptian and El Capitan. As well as having a tour that allows you to see the wonderful stars of course.
