The Grand Palace isthe city's most famous landmark. It was built in 1782 and was the home for the king of Thailand for 150 years. The Royal court and the administrative seat of government in the palace continues to astonish visitors with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, which shows the creativity of the Thai people. In the palace, there are many attractions to visit, as you can see in the image below. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, and state departments. Today, the complex remains in the heart of the Thai Kingdom.
